Overview

Claid is an AI photo studio built only for product photography, and it says that narrow focus is the point: its models are trained on product images and are meant to keep logos, labels, textures and fine detail intact. More than 10,000 businesses use it, according to the site.

What it does

AI Photoshoot / Claid AI Studio: place a product in editorial or lifestyle scenes, or use background templates, with natural lighting and shadows.
AI Fashion: turn a garment into on-model shots with a range of AI models.
Image to video: make short clips, including fashion and UGC-style videos, from still photos.
Edit and enhance: background remover, enhancer and upscaler, object eraser, people remover, image expander, light and colour correction, and more than ten other tools.

Output goes up to native 4K. Claid lists industries it serves including marketplaces, ecommerce, fashion, automotive, food, real estate and print-on-demand.

The API

Claid also sells automation. The API covers fashion models, background generation and removal, upscaling, image-to-video, shadows, light correction, generative resize, smart framing and text-to-image, with real-time and batch processing. An API key comes with the Pro plan, and larger projects go through the sales team.

Free: 50 credits for any operation, all Standard tools, and 50 API credits to explore.
Essentials: $9 a month, 500 credits, standard resolution up to 2K.
Pro: $35 a month, 2,000 credits, all Premium tools including 2K and 4K generation, longer history and uploads up to 64 MP.
Business: custom pricing with API workflows, SLAs and dedicated support.

Yearly billing is offered and the page says it saves up to $120. Credit costs depend on the operation: a simple edit uses 1 credit, upscaling 2 to 8, an AI image 4, and a 5-second video 60. Claid notes prices may change; see claid.ai/pricing.

Who it suits

Online stores, marketplaces and fashion brands that need many consistent product images, especially if they want to automate through an API.

Pros: focused on product photos; strong API; clear credit costs per action.
Cons: video is credit-hungry; 4K generation needs Pro; less useful for anything that isn't a product.
