Overview

Credo AI is an AI governance platform for enterprises. It says it created the AI governance category and has been working in the field since 2020, and it now focuses on governing AI agents as well as models, applications and AI vendors. Fast Company named it No. 6 in Applied AI among its Most Innovative Companies of 2026.
What the platform does
Credo AI's platform is powered by a knowledge graph that combines global regulatory intelligence with a company's own business context. It aims to help enterprises discover the AI they use, enforce policy, manage AI risk and show what the company calls Measurable Trust. Forward-deployed governance experts support customers alongside the software.
Capabilities
An AI Registry records use cases, models and vendors, with governance workflows and approvals. Shadow AI Discovery and integrated AI detection find AI tools already running inside an organisation, and AI usage reporting tracks adoption. Risk and compliance management includes dynamic risk scoring, audit trails and reporting. Regulatory and policy intelligence comes through an Insights Hub with policy packs and a library of risks and controls.
Agent governance and GAIA
For agents, Credo AI offers an AI Agent Registry and an Agent Governor, which was in research preview when we visited. GAIA, the Govern AI Assistant, handles AI-powered intake and registration and maps risks to controls.
Use cases
Listed solutions include building generative AI guardrails, assessing vendor risk, tracking AI adoption, complying with regulations, scaling governance and becoming audit ready. Free resources include an AI glossary, AI vendor risk profiles and explainers such as one on the EU AI Omnibus.
Pricing
Pricing is not published; you request a demo or talk to a governance expert.
Who it suits
It suits risk, compliance, legal, security and AI platform teams at enterprises that deploy many AI systems and need to show regulators, auditors and boards how those systems are controlled.
Things to consider
A governance platform does not replace legal advice or internal policy work, so plan for both. Ask how discovery connects to your systems and what data it accesses, and check which regulations and frameworks the policy packs cover for your regions.
The company also runs a yearly AI Trust Summit, held in New York in 2026.
