Overview

Kin lets you set rules for what your AI tools can do in your systems, then enforces those rules across all the AI apps you use.

Kin works as a control layer between your account connections and the AI apps that request actions. When an AI app asks for something, such as sending an email through your work inbox, posting a message to Slack, or running a GitHub workflow, Kin presents the request to you. You can either allow it, block it, or ask for a final confirmation before the action is executed. The same rules apply on every device that Kin runs on, so the same permissions apply whether you are on a Mac, an iPhone, or an Apple Watch. When you approve a request, the approval clears for all devices and for the next time the same request is made.

The tool is aimed at individuals who use several AI services in daily work, and at teams that want a single place to manage permissions for multiple people. Kin supports up to 50 000 actions per month for the Pro plan, and teams can add up to 2 seats with a minimum of two members. The interface shows an activity log that records every request and the decision you made. From that log you can pause all AI access at once, kill long‑running actions, or review large results that exceed a normal length. The plan hierarchy starts with a free tier that allows two AI apps and five account connections, limits you to 1 000 actions a month, and adds short‑form notes and tasks. The Lite plan adds support for five AI apps, ten connections, and 5 000 actions a month. Pro adds the capability for an AI app to hand tasks to another AI app, run multiple AI applications in a single job, and connect any external API. The Team tier adds a shared workspace and a shared bill for all seats in the team. Enterprise includes audit‑log export to security tools and custom pricing.
