Overview

PopAi is an online AI presentation maker and PowerPoint generator. It turns an idea or existing file into an editable presentation, bringing the main steps of deck creation into one workspace: building an outline, generating slides, refining content and exporting the finished deck. It is aimed at business presentations, lesson slides, reports, project updates and pitches.

Step one: topic or file

You can describe the presentation you want, including topic, audience, purpose and tone. If the information already exists, you can upload a PDF, Word document or PPTX file, or add a webpage as the source. PopAi analyses the material and helps identify the main ideas that should shape the deck. A suggested prompt on the site asks for a 10-slide project update for senior leaders summarising progress, key metrics, risks and next steps.

Step two: outline and style

Before generating the full deck, you review the suggested outline and can add, remove, rename or reorder sections so the story follows your goal. Then you choose a template or visual style, with presentation backgrounds for business, education, marketing and creative projects. The AI turns the approved structure into slides with coordinated layouts, content and visuals.

Step three: edit and export

In the online editor you can refine text, replace images, adjust layouts and add details. When the deck is ready, you export it as PPTX or PDF, or share it through a link. If you plan to keep working in Microsoft PowerPoint, PopAi has guidance on how PowerPoint Designer fits alongside its workflow.

Approach

PopAi stresses that a good workflow is not about producing more slides but about organising information and moving from source material to an editable deck with fewer disconnected steps. A report, research paper, lesson plan, proposal, webpage or earlier presentation can all become a source.

Who it suits

It suits professionals, teachers and students who often turn documents into slides and want a structured first draft quickly.

Things to consider

PopAi itself advises checking names, figures, sources and key claims before presenting. AI summaries of a long document can drop important caveats, so compare the deck against the source. Avoid uploading confidential files until you have reviewed the data terms.
