Quitar Fondo is a Spanish‑language web service that removes backgrounds from images. You upload a JPG, PNG or WebP file, the AI isolates the subject, and you can download a transparent PNG or a version with a white background. The preview is free, requires no registration and does not add a watermark, which makes it easy to try the service without commitment.

The tool is designed for people who need quick background removal for product listings, personal portraits, logos or social‑media graphics. After you open the site you can drag a file, paste an image from the clipboard, or paste a direct URL. The interface accepts files up to 10 MB; once the file is selected it is sent encrypted to the server where Replicate's AI model performs the cutout. The model returns a preview that you can inspect; the free preview is limited to five images per day and to a maximum resolution of about 0.25 megapixels. If the preview meets your needs you can download the result immediately, choosing between a transparent PNG, a white background, or another solid color.

For users who need higher resolution or multiple images, the service offers a paid point system. One point (starting at 4.99 US$) opens up the full‑size output for a single image, and a point is refunded if the cutout fails. After you create an account you can process up to 20 images at once; the batch mode lets you review each result and then download all files together in a ZIP archive. When you download, the system automatically adjusts the canvas size and margins to match common destination formats: 1200 × 1200 px for Mercado Libre, 1600 × 1600 px for Amazon, or 1080 × 1080 px for social platforms, while preserving the selected background option.

The service does not store a permanent copy of your original image or the result. According to the privacy notice, the input file may be kept temporarily by the AI provider for roughly 24 hours before deletion. All processing happens on the server side, so there is no local option to run the model on your own device.
