VideoFX is an online AI video studio that creates short video clips from either a written scene description or a single still image. You start with ten free credits, and no payment information is required to begin generating content. The service produces 1080p video with automatically generated sound effects and ambient audio, and it can upscale the completed clip to 4K without re‑rendering the animation.

The platform provides three generation modes. In the text‑to‑video mode you type a prompt that includes details such as camera angle, lighting direction, character actions and environmental elements. After you submit the prompt, the system runs a specialized neural pipeline and returns a 5‑10 second 1080p clip in roughly 30‑45 seconds. The clip includes built‑in audio that matches the visual description, so you do not need to add a separate soundtrack. In the image‑to‑video mode you upload a JPEG or PNG (max 10 MB) and the tool animates the picture by adding movement, camera pans and optional changes in intensity while preserving the original framing. This animation also finishes in under a minute and receives scene‑matched ambient sound. The third mode is a 4K upscale that takes any generated 1080p clip, applies AI sharpening to recover texture in faces, fabrics and fields, smooths motion, and outputs a 4K MP4 while keeping the original audio track intact.

Using the dashboard, you follow a three‑step workflow. First, select either text‑to‑video or image‑to‑video, which opens a parameter panel specific to that mode. Second, configure inputs: for text you write the scene prompt; for images you upload the source file and may add optional first‑frame or last‑frame reference images (also up to 10 MB each) to pin opening or closing shots, and you can supply up to two reference photos to keep a character consistent across frames. You also choose aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9), resolution (480p‑4K), and clip duration (5‑15 seconds). Finally, you press Generate, preview the result, request variations if needed, and export the video as an MP4 file. The exported file is ready for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Reels, or for further editing in professional suites.
