Overview

Wordle Solver is a browser helper for the daily word game. You type the guesses you already made, tap each tile to match the colors your game showed, and it suggests the next word to play.
The input works like the game itself. You enter five letters with the on-screen keyboard or your own, then tap tiles to set their color: one tap for yellow, two for green, a third to go back to gray. After every change the tool checks its list of 8,802 five-letter words and keeps only those that would have produced exactly the same colors. You see how many answers are still possible and the top three guesses, and a "Use this word" button drops a suggestion into the next row.
Suggestions are ranked by how evenly a guess splits the remaining words, measured as expected information in bits, with the number of groups and the worst case shown. That is why the second suggestion often does not fit your clues: words like MONTH or STAMP are picked to narrow the list, not to win. Guesses come from about 2,750 common words, and RAISE is its top opener, leaving about 74 of 2,765 common answers on average.
If you play in hard mode, a matching switch keeps greens in place and includes yellows in every suggestion. Hint mode hides the words and shows only how many are left, the certain positions and the most frequent unknown letters, for days when you want a nudge rather than an answer. The site states plainly that it never looks up the daily puzzle; it only works from your own guesses. Its word list combines ENABLE and SCOWL and is not the official answer list.
