Overview

Image3D is a browser‑based service that turns a single reference image or a short text prompt into a 3D model. You upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP file, or type a prompt, and the AI generates a mesh that you can rotate, inspect, and export in one of four common formats.
The tool is aimed at designers, hobbyists, and early‑stage developers who need quick visual drafts, printable STL checks, or web‑ready GLB previews. It works best with clear, single‑subject objects such as products, props, badges, characters, or simple creatures. Front or three‑quarter views tend to produce more reliable results than complex scenes. After uploading, you choose a generation mode, Standard for fast shape tests or Pro for higher detail, then the system checks your account's credits before creating the model.
Once the model appears in the workbench, you can rotate it on all axes, examine silhouette, material, and side detail, and decide whether it is ready for further use. If the shape meets your needs, you can download it as GLB (lightweight web preview or AR), OBJ (for Blender cleanup and material editing), STL (for slicer checks and 3D printing), or PLY. Export is allowed only for active Creator or Power subscriptions; Maker accounts do not include export files. Public examples are viewable without sign‑in, but they cannot be downloaded.
The workflow consists of four steps: upload image or prompt, generate the 3D mesh, inspect the result, and export in the desired format. Credits are consumed at generation time, while downloads do not cost additional credits. Subscription tiers determine which formats are available: Creator ($39.99 / month) includes all four exports, and Power ($89.99 / month) adds access to a growing “New Models” collection. New accounts start without free generation credits, and the Maker plan ($9.99 one‑time) provides generation only, without export capability.
