Overview

Kiwi is a free AI assistant that sends you texts before you need them. It connects to your calendar, email, and other services to detect upcoming events or pending actions, then messages you on iMessage or WhatsApp at the appropriate time. When you reply “yes”, Kiwi performs the task, such as booking a ride, moving a delivery, or scheduling a reminder, and then confirms the completion in your text thread.
The assistant watches your schedule for free blocks and offers to plan activities. For example, if you have an open Saturday afternoon, Kiwi can draft a family outing plan and ask if you want it set up. For travel, Kiwi checks flight status, notifies you of delays, and can book a ride to the airport once you confirm. When a bill is due, Kiwi tracks the email notice and prompts you with the amount before asking if you'd like to pay. For restaurant reservations, it finds suitable venues based on your preferences, shows the cost, and books once you say “yes.” All of these operations are triggered by a single text reply, keeping the process concise.
Kiwi also handles small chores that normally require multiple steps. If a package is scheduled for delivery and you're unavailable, Kiwi can reschedule the drop‑off date after you approve. When a ticket price drops, Kiwi sends you the new price and asks if you want the link. It never makes a payment or sends a message without your explicit approval, and it asks before any action that involves money or sensitive data. Passwords are typed by Kiwi without exposing them to the AI, keeping your credentials secure.
The tool works on both iPhone and Android. It uses your existing calendar and email as the primary data source and then expands to Slack, WhatsApp, Spotify, and other apps that can be scripted via website interfaces. The interface is purely text‑based; every interaction happens through a messaging thread, reducing the need to open separate applications. Typical inputs are natural language requests or calendar events; outputs are confirmation texts summarizing the action taken or asking for approval. Kiwi is ideal for users who prefer minimal app usage and want their routine tasks handled automatically but with explicit consent.
