Overview

Twitch Emote Resizer lets you turn a single image into the three square sizes Twitch requires for emotes: 112 × 112 px, 56 × 56 px and 28 × 28 px. You drop a PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF into the browser window, choose a resize mode, and download the three transparent PNGs together as a ZIP file. The service runs entirely in your browser, so no file is uploaded to a server and no account or watermark is required.
The tool is aimed at streamers, graphic creators and anyone who needs Twitch‑compatible emotes quickly. After selecting a file (up to 20 MB), the resizer shows each output on a checkerboard background with its file size in kilobytes, letting you verify that each version stays under Twitch's 1 MB limit. You can pick one of three resize modes: Fit, which preserves the whole image and adds transparent padding on the short sides; Fill, which crops to a square; or Pad, which adds a small margin around the artwork. A “Sharpen small sizes” switch is enabled by default and applies a light sharpening pass to the 56 px and 28 px outputs, helping retain edge detail.
To use the resizer, start with the largest clean version of your emote, ideally a 512 px or 1024 px PNG with a transparent background. Drop it into the box or click to browse, select the desired mode, and let the tool halve the image step by step until it reaches each target size. The preview shows how the transparent background is preserved; if the source image has an opaque background, that background remains in the output. GIF files are accepted, but only the first frame is processed and saved as a PNG, so animated emotes must be handled elsewhere. After the three files are generated, you can download them individually or as a ZIP named with the size suffix (e.g., yourname‑twitch‑28.png).
