Overview

Hue & Shape offers a set of browser‑based tools that let you analyze a single selfie to learn your face shape, color season and skin undertone. The analysis runs entirely on your device, so the photo never leaves your browser and no account is required for the basic results.
The face‑shape detector measures the proportions of your forehead, cheekbones, jaw and overall face length. It draws measurement lines on the uploaded image and returns one of seven predefined shapes, oval, round, square, heart, diamond, oblong or triangle, along with the numeric ratios that define the classification. After you know your shape, the site links to style guides that suggest hairstyles, glasses frames, eyebrow shapes and beard styles appropriate for that geometry.
The seasonal color analysis samples skin, hair and eye color from the same selfie, asks seven short questions and assigns you to one of twelve color seasons. Each season is paired with a palette of hex colors, and the free result includes the season name and the palette. A paid PDF report expands the palette to 36 colors and lists shades to avoid. The skin‑undertone test works similarly, classifying you as warm, cool, neutral or olive based on a skin sample and four quick questions. A symmetry test compares mirrored landmark pairs and reports numeric differences without providing a subjective rating.
All five tools, face‑shape detector, symmetry test, attractiveness test, color analysis and undertone test, share the same on‑device landmark model. You take one photo, the model runs locally, and the measurements are either displayed immediately or saved as numbers if you choose to create an account. The site also hosts free reference pages: detailed descriptions of each face shape, the twelve seasonal palettes with hex codes, a skin‑tone chart, and style guides for haircuts, glasses and eyebrows.
